In October 2010, I taught at another successful WIPO-ARIPO patent-drafting workshop in Windhoek, Namibia, with another talented group of participants, this time from Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Angola, Burundi, Lesotho, Mauritius, Ethiopia, Kenya, Botswana, Mozambique, Rwanda, Ghana and Malawi. Namibia is a beautiful country with magnificent deserts and wildlife, a strong economy and governance, and a warm and welcoming populace. We finished with a trip across the desert to the lovely resort towns of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay on the Atlantic coast.
